It’s a huge honour that I’ll be speaking at Ontario’s 2013 most prestigious tourism summit. I’m going to share with the tourism industry about mobile device marketing concepts using the high embracement and interaction based technology of Augmented Reality. I was asked to educate about marketing’s most recent revolutionary breakthrough where print is becoming Interactive through the use of mobile devices. The 9th Annual Ontario Tourism Summit is held in Toronto this November hosted by the Tourism Industry Association of Ontario (TIAO). The potential uses for tourism organizations will feature live examples that will get you thinking how to take your mobile marketing in 2014 up a few levels. With digital marketing all campaigns can be tied to key performance indicators (KPI) tied to business goals. Traditional print is bridging with digital content (video, photo, text, weblinks, contests, downloads) using Augmented Reality technology on mobile devices. This is not only breathing new life into the print industry but creating huge opportunities to connect where target markets are today – on mobile devices! Live demonstrations of interactive print will show how tourism mobile marketing can ride the massive mobile wave we all know is around us.
