How to Add Google Analytics Display Advertising Code to WordPress

Learn how to add Google Analytics Display Advertising code to WordPress so that all of your clients receive demographic reports.

I’ve been working on a few client websites recently that require more data from their website traffic. In the past website demographic data was as easy as clicking demographics within Google Analytics. Now you must turn this feature on and add some code to your analytics script across every page of your website.

By adding the snippet of code ga(‘require’, ‘displayfeatures’); to your wordpress website analytics.js code everything will show up for reporting demographic website data.

Thankfully WordPress has a plugin that makes it easy. Watch my video below where I guide you through step-by-step setting up Google Analytics and showing which WordPress plugin to use to make this data show up in your website reports.
